Princess Aji Kannik Barrau Sanipah is the in 1921 born one of the 2 last surviving children of the foremost last Sultan of Gunung Tabur in the Berau area/East-Kalimantan:Sultan Khalifatullah Jalaluddin alias Sultan Achmad Maulana Chalifatullah Djalaluddin(1921 until his death in 1951).Her uncle Ayub was the last ruling Sultan of GT.She is a sort of matron of the Royal family of GT and is asked frequently by young GT people to bless their marriage as well.She lives next to the Palace museum in GT,which is now a regional museum.For all kind of reasons(for instance because ,when she was young,there were no royals no royals left,who could pay for the dowry for this Sultan's daughter).
Until the present time she remained unmarried.Visitors from Holland and the rest of Europe,etc. are always free to vsit the palace and to meet her.
She still speaks very excellent Dutch.
