His grandather Bagoes Djelantik was recognized in 1937 fully as Raja of Karangasem by the Dutch East-Indies Government .
The Prince with French first name is son of the foremost last ruling Cokorde of Ubud(Cokorde Gde Raka Sukawati(1919-1931;died 1967)and his 4th wife the Dutch-French lady Gilberte Vincente.
